How we handle your data
Husk Lab Zone keeps this policy deliberately plain. It covers the little data this site touches, why we touch it, and the rights you have over it.

The site itself stores no personal data. If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive what you chose to send — typically your name, your address for correspondence, and the content of your message.
Everything you send is used to deal with your enquiry and nothing else. No profiling, no automated decisions, no passing your address around.
We run no trackers. One browser setting is saved locally — the fact that you dismissed our notice — and deleting it simply brings the notice back.
No third party receives your details from us — not for marketing, not for "partnerships", not in aggregate. The only exception is a lawful order we cannot refuse.
Correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to handle your matter and any follow-up, after which it is deleted. Records we are legally required to keep are kept for the statutory period and no longer.
You can ask at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through our contact page and we will act on it promptly after confirming it is really you asking.
Your correspondence lives in an ordinary, access-protected mailbox, readable only by the people who need to answer you.
The email field on our journal page collects only the address you type in, used solely to notify you of new pieces or journal entries. Unsubscribing removes it immediately.
Like most web hosting, our server keeps basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, not linked to your name and kept only as long as needed.
This site is written in English but operated from Japan, so data we hold is handled under Japanese data-protection practice; readers writing to us from outside Japan are covered by the same terms.
Orders are agreed individually by correspondence; we do not run an automated checkout, so no card details ever pass through this site — payment method is arranged directly with you.
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.
The data controller for this site is Husk Lab Zone. Anything unclear in this policy — write to us through our contact page and a person will answer.
